The Bucks County Beacon, which I have been editing for the last few years, is a reader-supported, popular, and participatory media outlet that acts as a catalyst for community organizing and action — and progressive change. Our work, thanks to our amazing writers, has been cited in other outlets such as Vanity Fair, Talking Points Memo, Wonkette, Salon, The Philadelphia Inquirer, WHYY, MSNBC, Keith Olbermann, & elsewhere.
This June 1st, beloved local venue Snipes Farm will host a celebration of community, music, and activism to support the Bucks County Beacon. There will be 5 bands, as well as local sponsors and community groups. Food and drinks will be offered for sale by the local Ukrainian-owned Great Barn Brewery.
